Celebrating Faith, Learning and Mission at 2025 Education Mass
Students, parents and carers, educators and clergy from Catholic schools across the Diocese of Parramatta gathered in a spirit of unity and celebration for the 2025 Education Mass on Wednesday 27 August.

Your outstanding achievement is a true reflection of the teamwork, dedication, and commitment each of you has shown throughout the season. You have represented Caroline Chisholm College with pride, determination, and incredible sportsmanship. This victory is well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder of how you carried yourselves both on and off the court. Well done, champions — you’ve made your school community incredibly proud! On the 26th and 27th August, our Junior Oztag Team travelled to Wyong to compete in the Champion of Champion Oztag Tournament. Although they didn’t make the final playoffs, they should all be incredibly proud of the way they played throughout the Oztag carnival. Their effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship stood out, and it was clear to everyone how much heart and dedication they brought to every game. Success isn’t only measured by finals or trophies — it’s also about the growth, the fun, and the memories we make along the way. And in that, this carnival was a huge success. Well done, and we look forward to seeing even bigger things in the future! A special mention to our Parents and families who transported and cheered our team on from the sidelines. What an amazing outcome for CCC girls at Penrith show this weekend (and featuring on the TODAY show on Saturday morning)! The Chisholm show team won over 15 ribbons at the show for their wonderful parading skills with our dairy calves, steer, and sheep!

Going to university is an exciting new chapter – and knowing what to expect helps students make the most of the journey! So a big thank you to Liliana from the University of Tasmania’s Future Students team for joining us on our final stop in the final Lunch & Learn: Discover the UNIverse series for 2025. UTAS offers more than 100 courses to study in Tasmania, including Marine & Antarctic Science, Natural Environments and Conservation, Outdoor Education, Music and Maritime engineering. The Sydney campus at Rozelle offers nursing and paramedicine education, in partnership with local hospitals and health service providers, so students can apply their learning in real healthcare environments. Liliana also spoke about accommodation, scholarships, diploma and other entry pathways as well as exciting micro-credentials that school students can study online. Don’t forget – UTAS Open Day at Rozelle is on Saturday 6 September. The perfect chance to explore opportunities, meet staff and find out what uni life is all about! The Junior Football team played in the Division 2 Grand Final on Thursday at Blacktown Football Park against St Agnes. Despite having only 11 players and facing challenging weather conditions, the girls gave it their all and secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory. They are to be congratulated not only for their win, but also for their adaptability and resilience—some even stepped into unfamiliar positions to support the team effort. Their determination and teamwork were truly outstanding. A big thank you to all the parents who came out to support the team today and throughout the season. Your encouragement has been invaluable.
