Congratulations & Commiserations to our Junior Oztag team finishing 2nd place in PDSSSC Thursday sport. What a team!! - 14 talented players + 5 shadows. - Year 7 & 8 combined. - Undefeated & first in their pool. - Skilful in every position. - Represented Chisholm with pride. It’s always a pleasure welcoming back our Alumnae, and we were honoured to host Ana Setiu Tuala, returning to Caroline Chisholm College as a Future Student Engagement Officer from Western Sydney University! Launching our 'Discover the UNIverse' Lunch and Learn series, Ana gave students from Years 9 to 12 an engaging and informative look into the world of university life. From degree options, facilities and pathway programs, to WSU’s True Reward early entry program and campus life - students walked away inspired and informed about their future possibilities. Building a bright future starts right now and our amazing Year 9 and 10 students have jumped into their exciting journeys of discovery, planning and dreaming big for life beyond school! Thanks to the inspiring team at Crazy Ideas College, our Stage 5 students participated in a dynamic ‘Future Ready’ pathways and careers seminar, designed to support subject selection and post-school decision-making. The workshop provided timely tools, fresh ideas and time to reflect and take the first steps toward life after school. Through reflection, collaborative activities and the creation of their very own Future Ready Plans, students explored their strengths, interests, aspirations and goals — setting actionable steps towards the futures they envision. As a Catholic learning and faith community we join the world church in mourning the loss of Pope Francis, ‘The people’s Pope’. At Easter, which is the most significant season of the Church’s year, we join in solidarity with the universal Catholic Church to farewell and thank Pope Francis for his unwavering leadership. On Friday 11th April we held the Annual CCC Athletics Carnival at Blacktown Athletics Track. Spirits were high across every house and everyone was set for a day of Track and Field fun! We started our day with the competitors' early competitive track races of 200m, 400m and 1500m events. The field events took off once the remaining students came to the track. Jemma Camilleri set the pace early with a new school record of 30.84m in the U16 Discus.
